Dissolved

I know many of you are leaving our little community(or have at least contemplated it) and I don't blame you, we have drifted apart in the games we are playing and the time we are willing to put into it. I will definitly take the brunt of the blame for our decline and don't mind doing so. When we were in our prime i'd easily be spending 25 - 30(or more) hours a week either playing or if we had upcoming matches, making up plays and stuff. MK has been around for going on 5 years and I think you could safely say I was burnt out on the same thing hence trying to get us into different games. There is that and the competition just vanished which was the only thing that was keeping me interested in cod4.

So where does that leave us? As a clan we are dissolved, but as a community some of you may remember I mentioned I was working on something with a buddy from work. Its a community structure similar to ours only by the time its done there may be hundreds of members. The plan was/is to pull everyone over from here to that and then we can get to gaming again. Right now there is a 32 man BF3 server up(which will be changed to 64), a TF2 server is on the way(since tf2 is free) and a cod4 server and possibly something else to the mix. We'll be doing similar to what I did on here last Friday, have weekly game nights where each night in the week is a different game.

Now I'm guessing your all wondering how its going to be different from here. Well, what mainly kills clans is two things. Not enough new recruits to keep the servers populated and lack of interest in the games you offer. We've already taken care of the games, and for the recruits and getting people in the message board we will be doing up flyers and giving them to pizza places and we'll be handing them out at our store too.

MK Tags

Well guys I have been reading the posts and wondering about the clan tags as well. As Boko mentioned the community thing, I have to agree. Also, life is getting in the way and I never see anyone anymore. Work Work Work. When I do get on I usually see Camper or Blade (not that that's a bad thing guys, but you know what I mean). I don't feel much like a clan anymore and I have drifted to 1.7 and most of you have been playing games other than Cod. This is the only clan I have ever known and I am proud to be apart of it, however, with that being said I think I am going to remove my tags. I have heard a couple others doing it as well. I also heard that we weren't going to have many servers anymore as well. Anyway, enough rambling on my end. I hope to see you guys around and possibly play sometime with you all.
